Automated external defibrillators(ADE) are devices that diagnose the human ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation. AED devices can be used by ant person provided by some training, the ADE devices functioning is different for a hospital defibrillators, cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is a treatment process provided during cardiac arrest by delivering a small amount of blood to the heart of the patient that causes the heart to cease pumping blood, the CRP process delivers a small amount of blood to the heath so that the body and brain keep functioning until defibrillation that causes a shock to the heart and results in the hearts normal functioning. Both ADE and CPR is a simple process but require some amount of training and the training can be easily gained in a class or now a days commonly on the web the treatment training is important for every individual and not just persons related to the health care industry.
AEDs and CPRs are simple in handling and usage unlike hospital defibrillators but require little training. First aid, basic life support and CPR, classes are provided my major hospitals and health care training centres both online and in classroom and efficiently teach a layperson about the treatment and the usages of the device and also explain in detail the usage of the device. The devices and the methods are simple, fully operational and easy-to-use and allows can be easily operated by a non-medical professional after training to perform necessary life-saving procedures before an ambulance arrives. usually there are joint training classes for both ADE and CPR in the training classes and after the completion of the course the individualshave to go through a test and after successful completion of the tests the individuals are awarded certificates that is valid for two years, after the date of expiry the individuals need to again go through the tests and upgrade the certificate for another two years.
CPRs do not require any device for training but the ADEs do these devices are found in public places and are usually stored in brightly colour cases and placed in open areas of buildings or public spaces such restaurants, airports, hotels and fitness centres. It is very important to check the ADE devices date of expiry that is visible on the device before treating the patient. CPRs are designed for treatment for flat-lined or a systolic patients and those patients do not require ADEs in case of the CRPs the Regular defibrillators require more extensive training and requires to follow a step by step procedure with many dos and don’ts.
